DonatingPlasma.org is an educational website sponsored by the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA).

The Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA) represents the private sector manufacturers of plasma-derived and recombinant analog therapies, collectively known as plasma protein therapies, and the collectors of source plasma used for fractionation. These therapies are used by millions of people worldwide to treat a variety of diseases and serious medical conditions. PPTA member companies produce approximately 80% of the plasma protein therapies in the U.S. and 60% of those manufactured in Europe.

PPTA works globally to:

• Administer standards programs that help ensure the quality and safety of plasma collection and manufacturing and protect both donors and patients
